Scholarship

The Friends has established a fund designed to assist older adults who are experiencing financial challenges with the opportunity to participate in membership, programs and trips offered by the Highlands Ranch Senior Center.

Guidelines

​

• Scholarships may be used for multiple programs or membership, however total funding for any individual participant is limited to $60 annually.

• Scholarships may be given for membership or program cost.

 

Eligibility

​

• Individuals must be a member of the Highlands Ranch Senior Center (or use the funds to purchase a membership).

• Applicants must provide verification of income if requested. Total income cannot exceed $2430/month for 1 person and $3287/month for 2 person households (200% of the Federal Poverty Level). Verification of income will be conducted in a confidential manner by staff.

• Applications should be submitted in writing to the Senior Services Manager at:

• Each application will be confidentially reviewed by staff and applicants will be notified by staff of request status and registration requirements within three (3) business days after submittal.
